IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth "Kenny"
Michael Brown
August 21, 1978 – April 12, 2024
"Kenny Brown was a husband, father, son, brother and friend – but no matter what role he played, he always loved BIG. "- Judy Rachal
Kenneth Michael Brown was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 21st, 1978, and although he was considered a big man, he would forever be affectionately referred to by his sisters, Staci and Jessica and mother, Judy, as the 'baby' of the family.
Kenny attended Grawood Christian Academy in his early years. Throughout school Kenny played football. baseball and golf. More importantly than academics though, would be the friendships he made. To know Kenny Brown was to immediately love him, and to in turn, have a lifelong friend and defender. Kenny went on to graduate from Brush Ranch School in New Mexico.
Kenny was a carpenter by trade and loved anything to do with woodworking. If there was something you needed built or fixed, he was there to do it with a smile on his face. He also loved cooking and grilling for friends and family, as well as playing in his pool league and coaching girls' softball with his brother, Wes.
In 2010, Aidyn Thomas Brown was born, and that's when Kenny's life truly began. Becoming a father was everything to him, and just to see or hear him speak of his son, you would know that he was the center of his universe.
Kenny met the love of his life, his wife, Miyo, in 2015. If you asked either of them, it was love at first sight. They spent nearly every day together for the almost 9 years they were together. And even through sickness and extremely tough times, they never left each other's side.
The last few years of Kenny's life were a struggle as his health faded, but he never lost his smile or his passion for life. He never missed a call or text message. He never said no when a friend needed help. He never stopped absorbing the love coming from those around him, and he returned it in kind. He never stopped being Kenny.
Kenny went to be with the Lord, leaving many a broken heart, on April 12th, 2024.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Glenn and Judy Rachal. His wife, Miyo Cox Brown. His son, Aidyn Thomas Brown. His stepson, Michael Stephen Howell. His stepdaughter, Lisa Reber and son-in-law, Brandon Reber. Sister Staci Boudreaux and husband Donny, niece Lynnli Anderson and nephew Ryeli Brown. Stepbrother Randy and wife Sherry. Half-brother Michael Brown and wife Amber, Wesley Brown III. Half-sister Jessica and husband Bryan King, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also had an immense love for his fur babies, Tig and Winnie, and his fur grandbabies, Jo and Pablo.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents: Ardis and Charlcie Phillips, Grandparents: Charlie and Mildred Greathouse, Biological Father: Wesley Brown, Jr., and Stepsister: Robynn Goode.
