Kenneth R. "Ken" Jones, 72 of Doyline, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024.  Ken was born to the late William "Bill" Jones and Johnnie R. Schnuse in Carthage, TX on January 29, 1952.  A retired cross country truck driver, Ken, lovingly referred to as "Bud", by his best friend and wife of 37 years, Sue Warren Jones, enjoyed being home working puzzles, bird watching and spending time with his family.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, William C. Jones; mother, Johnnie R. Schnuse; sister, Brenda Brecht; brother, Larry Jones; son, Russell Meredith, three (3) young angels and his little buddies, Scooter and Colby. He is survived by his wife Sue of Doyline, LA, son, Randall Jones and wife Melinda of Panama City, FL, daughter, Angela Robinson and husband Ricky, of Blackshear, GA; daughter, Sandra Johnson and husband Johnny, of Stonewall, LA; daughter, Sheila Ellinwood and husband Jeff of Doyline, LA; sister, Carolyn Ayers  of Elberta, AL; his grandchildren Christopher Beale, Corey Beale, Kaitlyn McEachern, Christy Jones, Brian Jones, Austin Jones, Dylan Jones, Elyssa Jones, Melissa Netherton, Kevin Johnson, Jeffery Ellinwood, Nathaniel Ellinwood, Lora Taff, Logan Ellinwood, Christopher Ellinwood, Felicia Croft, AJ Meredith, Wade Meredith, Rhonda Gwin; thirty-two (32) great grand children and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA, on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5:30 - 7:00pm. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetary in Ringgold, LA.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Beale, Brian Jones, Logan Ellinwood, Nathaniel Ellinwood, AJ Meredith, Steve Haskins and Bob Beale.  Honorary pallbearers are Corey Beale, Austin Jones, Dylan Jones, Kevin Johnson, Jeffery Ellinwood and Wade Meredith.
