Obituary

Our beloved son, brother, father and friend, Kenneth (Kenny)Wade Havard passed away on January 24 th , 2022, at the age of 68. God broke the mold after Kenenth was born in Shreveport, LA to Lonnie and Earline Havard on January 1 st , 1954. Kenneth took pride in being a New Year's baby and loved inserting this fact about himself in any conversation he could. He also enjoyed boasting that he graduated from Woodlawn high School, the same school as Terry Bradshaw, to any passing stranger or new friend he made along the way. Being the eldest of four was a task Kenenth took seriously. He found immense pride in being the older brother and was up for any challenge to lovingly embarrass his siblings.  He married the love of his life Wynona Havard and spent 29 years with her before she passed in 2016.

Kenneth retired after a work injury in 2007 after 34 years of working faithfully for WinCup. He spent his retired days watching every old western on repeat at deafening volumes and absorbing any and all history facts he could.  He was always prepared to pop quiz anyone at any moment to make sure they had their history knowledge sharp.  He loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. His family will miss him greatly.

Kenneth was one of a kind. His unique humor, questionable comments, and love will be missed by every heart he touched. Those that had the pleasure to meet Kenneth will not easily be able to forget him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Havard, Daughter, Angel Havard, sister, Carol Havard, and Wife, Wynona Havard.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Earline Havard; Daughter, Holly and husband Hafid Chkhichekh; Grandchildren Jacob and Aya; Brother, Mike Havard and wife, Christiopher Deguerce ; Nephew, Patrick Alford and wife Christy and Great Neice, Skylar Alford

A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at Aulds Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2 pm. Officiating will be Joey Ketchum. All friends and family are invited to join in his remembrance.
