Shreveport, LA - Kelly Palmer went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was born in Shreveport on August 21, 1958 and graduated from Southwood High School in 1976. Kelly is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Palmer, two sons Randall Palmer and partner Mary, Billy Palmer, and the light of her life granddaughter Riley Palmer, her parents Bill and Patsy Compton, sisters Terri Langford and partner Mark Griffith, Cindy Compton and partner Billy Carter, brother John Compton and wife Karen, sister-in-law Pam Wheeler and husband Dean, brother-in-laws Ronald Palmer and wife Debbie, Roger Palmer, numerous nieces and nephews and her puppy, Max. Kelly retired from Snell's Limbs and Braces after 21 years as Director of Administrative Services and she loved her Snell's family as much as her own. Services will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 1204 Crabapple Drive, Shreveport, LA at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, with visitation preceding at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: Limbs For Life Foundation, 9604 North May Ave., Oklahoma City, OK. 73120 or online at limbsforlife.org.
