Keith Wayne Johnston, 68, of Greenwood, Louisiana, walked into the presence of Jesus healed and whole and with perfect vision on May 13, 2025.

Keith, lovingly known as "Blind Uncle Keith", was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 27,1957, to his parents John William and Mary Elise Johnston. He was raised in a Christian home along with his siblings, Brooks Alan Johnston, Karen Denise Johnston (deceased), and Carey Scott Johnston.

Keith graduated from Southwood High School in 1975 and took college business classes thereafter. However, playing the guitar, writing songs, singing, and performing were always his passion.

"Blind Uncle Keith" was a well-loved, respected, and accomplished musician throughout the Ark-La-Tex area. His knack for humor and his gift of musicianship kept his fans and followers wanting more.

Keith was an active member of Grace Family Worship Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, and loved playing the guitar for the church's worship team. He never wanted to miss a single worship service, men's meeting, prayer service, or event. He was faithful and committed.

Left to cherish his memories are his surviving siblings, Brooks Alan Johnston and Carey Scott Johnston, as well as his loving wife of 5 years, Diana Johnston, who selflessly cared for him and provided excellent care and support for him until the end. Keith also fathered 3 children left to cherish his memory.

Throughout his 68 years of life, Keith was always committed to Christ and committed to the guitar. Those 2 things were unwavering.

A "Celebration of Life" service honoring his life will be held at Grace Family Worship Center located at 2665 Williamson Way in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 am.
