Kathy "Kasey" Carter Evans, age 62, passed away on October 28, 2019 at a Bossier hospital. She was born in Delhi, Louisiana to James Frederick Carter and Kathryn Hattaway Carter Brown. She was raised in the Pentecostal Church. She loved music, watching soaps, playing games, but more so enjoyed spending time with her friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jerry Wayne Carter, Sr.; sister Sharon "Libby" Elaine Bowdish.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Angela Council (Keith), James Carter, Chrystal Brown, and Jeremy Taylor; Grandchildren Paige Yates (Marcus), Kasey Brown (BJ), Denton Milleen, Ryland Carter, Kendyl Sky Carter, Chelsea Harris (Christian), Ashleigh Harris (Andrew), Joshua Harris, Christian Jordan, Mariah (Kaylee) Boren, Chasity McCleary, Stacy McClary; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Carter (Brenda) and Terry Brown (Tammy). Also surviving are numerous of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5-7pm at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the Pentecostal Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Rev. Ken Richmond officiating. The family would like to give an extra thank you to the staff at WKB, Dr. Lambert (Boots), Dr. Van, and Ann from ICU.
