A memorial service for Kathryn "Kathy" Parker will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 30th at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana. The service will be officiated by Dr. Howard H. Hall, Jr., Pastor of Shreveport Baptist Temple; and Bro. Bill Foster, Pastor of Northpoint United Methodist Church.

Kathryn Foreman Parker was born March 31, 1935 in Constatine, Michigan to Henry and Doris Foreman, and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 27, 2017.

Kathy, as she was lovingly called by all her friends, was preceded in death by her parents,  her sisters; Norma, Betty, JoAnn, and her best friend and identical twin sister, Carolyn Brisbin.

Kathy is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Cuthbert Lamar "Buddy" Parker; daughter Debora Kay Mitchell and husband, Raymond; son James Lamar "Jim" Parker and his special friend Edith Parker,  daughter Susie Wilkinson and husband Bobby;  Grandchildren James Parker, Jr., Rocky Parker, Jamie Lynn Parker, Raymond Mitchell, Jr. and wife Misty, Michele Mitchell,  Tracie Jefcik and husband Ron, Callie Barmore and Matthew Barmore. Great grandchildren Ty Mitchell, Ray Mitchell, McKenzie Mitchell,  Landon Jefcik and Jillian Rae Jefcik.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past weeks, especially the fourth floor nursing staff at Willis Knighton Pierremont.
