Kathryn Virginia Devers-Yeager passed peacefully into eternal life Saturday, August 11, 2018.

A native of Shreveport, Kathy was born November 11, 1949. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Georgia Ainsworth (Darnell) Hanrahan and Ray Hanrahan, grandparents Henry and Katie (Jones) Ainsworth and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Left to cherish her memory are her family: husband, Robert "Bob" Yeager; son, Daniel Keith (Courtney) Devers; granddaughter, Kathryn Faith Devers; step-granddaughter, Paige Nicole Blair, step-daughter, Amanda (Justin) Allison; and step-grandson, Arthur Allison. Kathy is loved and deeply missed by many colleagues and friends she made along the way.

A graduate of Fair Park High School, Class of 1967, Kathy enjoyed a long career as a legal assistant before she began her career with the State of Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal. After her parents retired, Kathy and son, Keith, ran Hanrahan Reporting Services until Kathy retired.

The simple things in life were what Kathy enjoyed most. She loved spending time with family and friends; she loved her dogs; she loved good food, good music, and good times.  And, she loved Jesus.

Kathy's life will be celebrated on a date and at a time and place to be announced. In the meantime, those who knew Kathy know that her wish would be this: that everyone she loved, and everyone who loved her, had time to enjoy the simple things – the really important things – that life has to offer.

In lieu of flowers, spend time with your loved ones. Make time to travel. Enjoy good food – good company. Listen to good music. Do that which makes you smile.
