It is with deep sadness that the family of Katherine Jean Jones, age 69, announces her passing on March 23, 2025, at the Town & Country Health & Rehab Nursing facility in Minden, Louisiana, after a short illness. Born in Shreveport on August 10, 1955. Kathy spent most of her life there, with brief periods in Texas and Mississippi.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Jones, Donna Maxine Adair Jones, her brother Mike, and sister Terry. She is survived by her beloved sister Tracy, uncle David, aunts Patti and Sandra, and many cherished cousins.

A beloved sister, niece, cousin and friend, Kathy enjoyed her work as a cab dispatcher and treasured time spent fishing with loved ones. She had a deep love for God and knew that the Lord was with her until the end.

Kathy's family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by the nursing staff at Town & Country Health & Rehab, the dedicated caregivers from Lifepath Hospice Care Services, and invaluable support of the Hospice Chaplains. She left this world surrounded by these loving individuals and her final days were filled with love of her caregivers and her family.
