A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 5 2022, at St Francis Cabrini Church for Judy M. Damico, 71, who passed away January 18, 2022.

Fr Chad Partain of St Frances Cabrini Church is officiating for the services.  The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9 am to 10 am and a rosary will be recited at 10 am following the visitation.

Judy was born April 9, 1950 in Alexandria, La. She was preceded in death by her Father Jerome Damico, Mother Wilma Damico, one granddaughter Jessica Stone and two brothers Glen Damico and Charles Damico.  Judy is survived buy her two children D'Andra Forbito  (Rodney) of Monroe, La and Joseph Nugent of Ball, La.  Three grandsons, AnthonyCascio of Monroe, La, Tyler Nugent (Peyton) of Pineville, La and Tanner Nugent of Pineville, La. Three sisters Barbara Damico, Kathy Cifelli (Dennis) and Annette Jones (Shary) and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two very special friends Glennie Bordelon and Janice Hicks.

Judy earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University and retired from Rapides Regional Medical Center after 25 years of service. Judy then went on to work as a Traveling Nurse where she visited many interesting cities in the United States.

Judy enjoyed crafting as a hobby and loved spending time with her family and friends.

A special thank you to the nurses at at Rapides hospital as well as Dr Buck, who had been her Doctor for many years.
