Joy entered into eternal rest on Monday July 25, 2016 at the age of 74 after a lengthy illness. Joy was a homemaker, loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Albert Charles Shears, her Mother Lillie Arnold Almond, her Father Robert E. Almond, mother-in-law Carrie Shears, her sister Patricia Webb, and son-in-law Roy P. Vautour.

She is survived by her three daughters: Christy Folker and husband Brad, Lillie Vautour, Debbie Cutrer with Jerry Lee. Also, a lot of loved ones from her late husband's family in Michigan. And a special friend Dianne Webb.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Shannon and husband Shawn, Amberlie, Ericka, Kasey and husband Clifton, Adam with Renee and Allen. Jerry's two sons: Trey and Casey. And Brad's two sons: Tony and wife Minnie and Lyle.

Joy is also survived by her loving great grandchildren: Caitlin, Blair & Evan. Hannah, Angela, Bella, Abbie and Lacie. Cameron, Caleb and Lexi. Cassie, Evan & Jon Michael. Anthony and Khloe.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Riverview Care Center, Willis Knighton Hospital and the East 80 Fire Department.

Joy Shears will be cremated and the immediate family will have a private memorial at a later date.
