Josie Pohl, age 90, passed away on February 5, 2025. In all those ninety years she trusted and worshipped the Lord Jesus Christ. In return, he gave her a really good life. She was always satisfied just where she was in life and had peace and joy in her heart. She will truly be missed. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the ninety years we had with Josie, and now we give her back to you!

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Josephine Garacci; husband Russ Pohl; brother Johnny Garacci, and granddaughter Jeana King.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons and daughters in law Steve and Jeanette Pohl and Mark and Sue Pohl; grandchildren Chastain Chamberlain, Kristal Pierce, Jeffery Pohl and wife Aimie, and Braden Pohl; great grandchildren Jackson Pohl and Bailey Pierce.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport. The family wants to extend special thanks for her care to Aimie Pohl and nurses Shannon and Erin Shaver.
