Obituary

Josephine Brown McCain was Born July 4 th 1938 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23 rd 2021.

"Jo" or "Jojo", as she was known while working in radio, always had a smile and her testimony of how Jesus Christ helped her life in so many ways. She was a member of Barron Road Baptist Church. She spent her last years at the Glen telling others or reading to them about her savior.

She always cherished the days she could take her young grandchildren to church with her.

Jojo was preceded in her journey home by her father Charles J. Brown and mother Louella Holman Brown; Husband Elton B. McCain: Brothers William, John Raymond, Charles Joseph,  and Francis E Brown; Sisters, Rowena Carter, Celestine Dumas,  and  Clara Magee.

She is survived by her brother Joseph  Brown and sisters- Amelia Loftin  and Mary McAmis; her children-Kristian and Kelly McCain,  Rob Lee and Lillian McCain, and youngest James Dean McCain; her grandchildren- Malory McCain-Boughton , Kristen McCain , and her "Danny Boy" Kristian Daniel McCain;  and a host of loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Her pastor Roger Morten of Barron Road Baptist will officiate. Services will be held 1 P.M.  Wednesday December 29, 2021,  at the Aulds Funeral Home,  7849 East Kings Highway in Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta, Louisiana.
