Joseph (Woody) Wood (March 7th, 1944 - February 14th, 2019). Born in Syracuse NY, passed in Shreveport LA. Preceded in death by his mother; Margaret Gail Wood and father; Joseph Frederick Wood, and the mother of his children; Anna L. Peters. Survived by his children; Denise Garcia (Joe Garcia) and Dion Wood (Angela Wood), Granddaughter Holly Garcia, sisters and brothers (and spouses): Patricia Leon, Michael Wood, Robert Wood, Margaret (Peggy) Ibison, Tammy Falcon, Cathleen Megill and many nieces and nephews. Woody started his career at General Motors in Fremont, California, then transferred to Wentzville MO and then on to Shreveport LA where he retired after 40 years of service. The family will have a private memorial in California.
