Keithville, LA - Joe Blankenship, age 66, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 5, 2015 after a lenghthy illness. He was born to Nettie and James Blankenship on July 25, 1948 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Henry and J.C. Blankenship. Joe is survived by his sisters Doris Leach and Freddie White, brothers Carrol and Johnny Blankenship, best friend Randy Goodman, sister-in-law Margrett Blankenship, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday January 8, 2015 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Radford officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, AR. There will be a visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the employees of The Regional Hospice Care Group for the excellent care given to Joe while in his time of need.
