Memorial Services for Johnny "Rock" Derrel Meshell, 71, of Zwolle, LA

will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 2:30PM at

Aulds Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip North officiating.

Johnny Derrel Meshell was born on June 19, 1944 in Zwolle, LA.

He passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Rapides General

Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

He served as a medic in the Korea and Vietnam War for the

U.S. Army from 1969 through 1972.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Carmon

Austin Meshell; three sisters; five brothers; and three children.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Meshell of Zwolle, LA.; daughter,

Candis Welch of Panama City, FL.; daughter, Sandra Meshell of

Daphne, AL.; daughter, Roxanne Meshell of Shreveport, LA. ; daughter,

Amy Young of Shreveport, LA and son, Derrel Meshell of Mauriceville, TX.;

15 grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews,

and friends.
