A lifelong resident of Shreveport, Johnia "Nana" married Z.W. Britt and enjoyed over 50 years of happy marriage. She worked for many years in the family business and loved spending time with her family and going to church. She attended Lakeshore Baptist church and later Willow Point Baptist church. Nana was always filled with joy and brought happiness to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Z.W. Britt, daughters Janice Britt and Ingrid Britt Robertson, sons John Charles Britt, Craig T. Britt and Scott B. Britt. She is survived by her son, Craig R. Britt and granddaughters Inger (Jimmy) Whittington, Erica (Han) Clark, Christina Britt and Jennifer Britt and five great grandchildren.

A special thanks to the staff of Spring Lake Guest care for their wonderful care of Johnia during the last few years of her life. A private family memorial will be held in celebration of her life.
