John Patrick "Pat" Wiggins, age 69, was born November 18, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to William and Laura Wiggins and passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 6, 2021. Pat had an unwavering faith and devotion to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and listened to mass daily.

Pat proudly served his country with the United States Coast Guard. After being honorably discharged, he began his extensive career as a nurse. Pat began his nursing career in the Shreveport/Bossier area. He spent several years travel nursing in California and spent the last years of his career working at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, where he became known as the "Badge Bling King" to his fellow nurses. During his nursing career, Pat formed many lifelong friendships that still exist to this day.

Outside of nursing, Pat's interests included watching baseball, spoiling his pets Sammie and Napoleon, and catching up with friends and family over a tasty meal. Most of all, family and friends will remember Pat by his positive attitude, infectious personality, and his infallible sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind and never met a stranger.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Wiggins.

Pat was married to Susie Fox for 32 years and had two beautiful daughters. He is survived in death by his oldest, Kelly Rangel (George), and his youngest, Caroline Smith (Delton).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Great Raft Brewery in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, October 23 from 3-6 pm.
