Celebration of Life for John Richard Warner age 69 of Haughton, La will be held September 15, 2024 at Bayou Bodcau Dam in Haughton, La. at 1:00 p.m. John was born in Winnfield, La May 15, 1955 to John William and Patsy Joe Warner. He graduated from Airline High School in 1973 shortly after joining The United States Navy where he was a fireman and was honorably discharged in 1977.
John retired from Allens Electric Co where he spend most of his career as an electric motor winder which he took much pride in his work and became one of the best motor winders in LA.
John loved the outdoors & enjoyed his favorite past time hunting, fishing & spending time with family & friends.
John is preceded in death by his father John William Warner.
Survivors include his mother Patsy Joe Warner of Dallas, Tx, His loving wife Patti Warner, 1 brother David Warner of Dallas Tx & Kim Stinson & husband Grey of Dallas Tx, Two sons Ron P Warner and wife Alexandra of Jacksonville, Fla and Jonathon R Warner of Haughton, 1 daughter Stephanie Worley & husband Jon of Haughton, La, Brother-in-law Bobby Simpson of Columbia, Tx.
John had 8 grandchildren - Cassidy Willis & husband Jordan of Karnack, Tx, Devon Warner of Oklahoma, Jonathon Warner Jr of Haughton, DawnMarie Warner of Haughton, La., Cecily Hill, Ciera Hill, Ronnie Hill & Avery Hill all of Jacksonville, Fla.
John had one great grandchild Carter Jacob Sellars.
The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dr. Ted Warren & his staff for their care & compassion also to Willis Knighton Hospice for the care. To family & friends who were keeping John in their prayers.
