John Thomas Gadd, Jr "Tommy" age 70, passed away in Shreveport, LA on September 18th, 2024 after battling health issues. Tommy was born on August 25th, 1954 in West Point, MS to John and Mary Gadd. Tommy spent much of his life as an electrician in the oil and gas industry, which gave him the opportunity to travel the world. He took pride in his work and excelled at what he did. But his most important roles were those of husband, father, friend and eventually, a companion to his childhood sweetheart. In his younger years, he was an avid outdoorsman and had many adventures. He loved camping and being in the woods, it brought him peace. Tommy will be remembered by his loved ones as a family man and a good friend. Tommy is survived by his companion, Stephanie, his children, Shane and Christy, his grandson Hayden who Tommy raised as his own, his siblings, Gary, Valerie, and Ann, as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved wife Katie Gadd, and his parents. He left a legacy that will be cherished.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport.
