John David Pruett ("Biskit") died peacefully in his home on August 4, 2018 in Blanchard, LA.  He was 64.

Mr. Pruett was born on July 19, 1954 in Shreveport, LA to his parents, R.D. Pruett and Ruth Adkins, who preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pruett; his daughters, Jessica and Michelle;  step-sons Paul and Patrick; sister and brother-in-law Vera and Gary Vaughn; five step-brothers Ricky, David, Terry, Bill, and John Wayne; ten grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; as well as numerous friends and military brothers.

Mr. Pruett was part of the Iron Worker Union 591, a veteran of the Marine Corp, and an avid Harley Davidson rider.

A viewing will take place from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018 and services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Auld's Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Hwy., Shreveport, LA.
