John Frederick Peters passed away on Wednesday June 30, 2021 after a sudden illness. He was born April 17, 1972 in Shreveport, La and is survived by his loving parents Frederick and Retta Jean Grinder Peters and brother Jason and his wife Jessica. He is also survived by his Ex Wife, Misty Peters, mother of his daughters Evan Taylor Peters, Avery London Peters and Addison Brooke Peters and step son Wesley Fincher and a number of uncles, aunts, cousins and nephews. John dearly loved his family.

John graduated from Caddo Magnet High School in 1990 and then attended Centenary College and Alabama University where he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Biology.

John loved Sports and was a big fan of Alabama Football, Hockey and Golf. He also loved his autos and especially his four wheel drive trucks. He liked to visit the mountains and national parks where he would drive on and off road.

After graduation from college he moved back to Shreveport to work for Brandon Industries as a Supply Chain Manager and he also worked selling cars for ORR Acura.

We invite all who knew John to a remembrance from 4 – 6 pm Wednesday July 7, 2021 in the memorial chapel at Broadmoor Baptist Church 4110 Youree Drive in Shreveport.

John's family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the ICU Critical Care Unit of Ochsner LSU Hospital for the care they gave him during his illness.
