Obituary
John W. Gentry, born February 23,1953, and earned his wings, May 19,2016 of a long time illness. Survived by his wife, Lisa Gentry, his daughter Monica Stillwell, his son, Eric Logan, grandson Blake Logan, sister Sharon Armes, sister Mary Gentry, brother Kenneth Gentry,wife Allison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also his brother in laws and sister in laws, too many to fit in the program. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Wintress Gentry, his twin brother Ben Gentry, his brother-in-law Ed Armes, and his son-in-law Richard Stillwell. Special thanks to the North ICU unit at the VA Hospital for taking such good care of him.He served in the United States Air Force. He was a diesel Mechanic for about 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Blake. When remembering John, remember his love of telling stories, 2 or 3 at one time.. Remember his love of history, his love of Cypress trees!! Remember his love for God!!
