Celebration of life for John Herschel Creech, 84, of Frierson, Louisiana will be held at Grawood Baptist Church in Keithville Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 1:30pm-2:00pm with Rev. Chris Willcutt officiating.

John went home Monday, November 25, 2024. Born September 27, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Dewy and Effie Creech. John graduated from Fairpark High School and joined the Navy where he served honorably. He returned from his military service to marry his wife, Denice Schneider. John was a member of the Carpenters Union and also taught carpentry to young men and women. John will be especially remembered for his love of his family as well as his church family. He was an avid LSU sports fan.

John is preceded in death by his wife, Denice Creech; oldest son, John Alan Creech; and his parents, Dewy and Effie Creech. John is survived by his brother, Evan Creech; youngest son, Troy Creech; grandchildren, Johnathan Creech, Luke Creech and wife Kaitlin, Keriden Hoffpauir and husband Cooper, Noah Creech; and great-grandson Jrake Creech.
