John Calvin Copeland, age 57, of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He was born in Sacramento, CA on December 8, 1964 to Marvin Lewis Copeland and Linda Kay Copeland. He graduated from NDHS class of 1983, and married Molly McCune in 1985 and they had two children. Love of Christ and family were his top priority in life. He worked for years in the church helping with children's groups. John loved life: watching ball, restoring old cars, and practical jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Linda Copeland and two brothers Jeff and Jerry Copeland.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Molly McCune Copeland; brother James Copeland; children Cody, Sarah, and Danyelle Copeland; grandsons Layton and Owen Copeland; Uncle Mike Southerland, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Serving as pallbearers are TJ Hawthorne, Matthew Copeland, Logan Dickerson, Nick Gasper, Philip Rhodes, and Jason Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Baker and Dusty Harrison.

Visitation will be held at Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall at 1pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Mike Hawkins officiating.
