Celebration of life for John Alan Creech, 52, of Frierson, Louisiana will be held at Grawood Baptist Church in Keithville, Saturday, February 20, 2016 with Rev. Chris Willcutt and Rev. Denny Duron officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-12 with the service following at 12:30.

John went home Tuesday, February 16, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born May 30, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John H. Creech and Denice Schneider Creech, a graduate of Huntington High School he went on to attend LSUS. He was a union carpenter and served as executive secretary/treasurer for the union's Louisiana and Mississippi chapters.

John will be especially remembered for sharing his love of sports with his children, coaching many of their teams, and being an avid LSU fan.

John is survived by his wife, Robin Draper Creech; parents, John and Denice Creech; brother, Troy Creech; sons, Jonathan Creech and wife Paula, Luke Creech, and Noah Creech; daughter, Keriden Creech; step-daughter, Lauren Simmons; and 4 grandchildren.

The family would like to thank doctors James Jackson, Anil Veluvolu, and Bharat Guthikonda for the exceptional care they gave John. Very special thanks also to the nursing staff of WK North, WK Piermont stepdown, and Heritage Manor-West for their loving care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the John Creech Memorial Fund at Bancorp South bank. Account name is Robin Creech/John Creech Memorial Fund. Proceeds from this fund will help cover funeral expenses and a memorial banner at North DeSoto Baseball field.
