Joe Taylor, age 82, of Spearsville, Louisiana passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Joe was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He also served his country faithfully and was a United States Army veteran.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents Proctor E. Taylor and Carrie Dison Taylor; Paternal grandparents William T. Taylor and Georgia Brantley Taylor; Maternal grandparents John D. Dison and Bird Gunter Dison; siblings Alice Elaine Oglesby, Norvelle Proctor Taylor, and Larry Dean Taylor; son Jason Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife whom he married October 13, 1978, Judy Robertson Taylor of the home; children Chris Taylor and wife Cyndi of Spearsville, and Carla Hudson and husband Kerry of Pritchett, Texas; grandchildren Derrick Hudson and wife Cheynne, Blake Taylor and wife Kimmy, Laura Taylor, and Addison Taylor, all of Nacogdoches, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm Friday, April 8, 2022 at New Beginnings Church in Junction City, Arkansas with a service to follow at 2pm.
