Joe Ann Stevenson, age 88, went home to be with her Lord on November 23, 2025, after a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer. She faced her illness with the same strength, grace, and unwavering faith that she carried throughout her life.

A devoted Christian, Joe Ann loved her church and treasured her relationship with the Lord above all else. Her days were filled with prayer, fellowship, and a deep joy in worship. She especially loved to sing, write, and listen to gospel music—expressions of faith that brought her peace and comfort and that she shared generously with those around her.

Joe Ann was the loving mother of four children and the proud matriarch of a large and growing family that included numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Her warmth, wisdom, and compassion touched every life she encountered, and her legacy of love will continue through the generations she leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Benton on Monday, December 1st at 10:00. Grave site service to follow church services at Plain Dealing Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose faith and love inspired all who knew her.

Joe Ann will be deeply missed, but her spirit, songs, and steadfast faith will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.
