Joe Clifton Jones, Sr.

Shreveport, LA- Memorial for Joe Clifton Jones, Sr., age 90, will be held at 11am Friday, July 5, 2019 at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport with Try McGee officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:45am until 11:00am. Mr. Jones was born on October 23, 1928 in Okolona, Arkansas to Clifton Trout and Eva Belle Rushing Jones and passed away June 30, 2019. He retired from the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton Trout and Eva Belle Rushing Jones, wife Mary Ellen Jones, daughter Deborah Lynne Jones, son Joe Clifton Jones, Jr., and brother John Paul Jones. He is survived by brother James M. Jones, Sr. and family, sister-in-law Onetha Norrid Jones and family, granddaughter Brittany Clarkston and family, and grandson Justin Stewart and family. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Shreveport.

The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Sally Ball, the Oaks Nursing Home, and St. Joseph Hospice, and Aulds Funeral Home.
