Joe Robert Booth Sr, 65 of Benton, LA, passed away, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Willis Knighton Hospital with complications of Covid. He was born April 30, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and meeting new friends. Joe was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. He was a hard-working man and loved his family more than anything in this world.
Survivors include his wife Janet Booth of 47 years; 3 Daughters Patricia Jarrett, Chasity Macon, Teresa Weatherwax; 2 Sons Clint and Sean Booth; 16 grandchildren, 4 Great GrandChildren; 4 Sisters Judy Moore of Texarkana, Mary Jesalosky of Crowley, TX, Susie Dickson of Doyline, LA, Beverly Jiles of Hall Summit, LA; 4 Brothers James Pate of Texarkana, AR, Ricky Wehling of Utah, Jimbo Vines of Bossier City, LA, David Booth of Dallas, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents JR Booth and Vena Vines; his grandparents; 2 Sisters Joanne and Vicky Wehling; 1 son Joe R Booth Jr.
A time of gathering and celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Jan 3 at 1 pm at the Faith Assembly of God in Texarkana, AR 2001 Arkansas Blvd, Texarkana, AR 71854.
