IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joannah Salisa
Beshea
October 6, 1980 – February 11, 2026
Joannah Salisa Beshea was born on October 6, 1980. She stepped out of this life and into Jesus's loving arms on February 11, 2026. She was born to Barbara Ann Deroche and James Douglas Woodell in Shreveport, La.
Joannah was the most caring, generous, loving and hard hugging person. She never met a stranger. She drew people to her with a beautiful smile and always welcomed them with open arms. She loved animals and was known to go above and beyond for any soul she could reach.
She stood beside her husband through every season of life, the joyful highs and the hardest lows with loyalty and grace. But most of all, she absolutely adored her only son, Wesley David Beshea, Jr., better known as Little David. He was the axis her heart spun on. She was fiercely protective of him and her family, she would move mountains for them.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Deroche, her father, James Woodell, and her aunt, Nellie Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Wesley David Beshea Sr., her son Wesley David Beshea Jr., Daugher in law Kaylie Smith and unborn grandchild, Mother in law Rhonda Anfinson, Father in law Doug Anfinson, Sister in law Cali Solomon and husband David Solomon II, Brother in law Taylor Anfinson, Sister Michelle Purcell and husband James Purcell, Sister Bobbi Guggenheim and husband Matthew Guggenheim, Sister Susan Pannell and husband Jr., Brother Stoney Woodell and wife Leeann, Brother James Woodell Jr., Niece Carmen Cunningham, Nephew Caden Cunningham, Nephews Carter, Aiden and Abel Anfinson, Niece Paige Crouch and husband Mike Crouch, Nephew Paul Lilley and wife Lindsey Lilley, Nieces Kayla Lilley, Jamie Purcell and Madisyn Purcell, Nephew Stoney Woodell Jr., Niece Ashley Aponte and husband, Nieces Cassie and Kayla Champagne, Niece Andrea Lewis, and many beloved aunts, uncles, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends.
