Jimmy, age 68, was born July 2, 1952 to James Herbert Walker Sr. and Jo Helen "Peggie" King in Hinton, West Virginia.  He was the second of four children.  He is preceded in death by his parents, older sister Jimmie Lavern, and brother Wayne Edward.

He is survived by his loving wife Roberta Elaine Walker, his sister Theresa Marie Walker, son David and wife Wendy, son Derek and wife Keisha, daughter Courtney, two nieces, and stepfather of Chris and Mark Acosta.  He was Papaw to eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

James spent eleven years in the Army, he loved playing in his bands all around the area, and participating in the APA pool league.

Services will be held at Aulds Funeral Home 7849 E. Kings Hwy Shreveport, LA 71115.  The visitation will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5pm-7pm.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12pm.
