Obituary

On Friday, May 15 th , 2020, Jimmy Thomas Morgan peacefully passed away in his home at the age of 64. Jimmy was born in Northwest Louisiana to Blanchard (Bill) and Alma (Norris) Morgan He grew up, attended school (graduating in 1976) and renowned high school football player in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. He was an experienced welder and spent time working in the oil industry but above all, he loved working for himself in the lawn care business. He was a Mason, belonging to the Blue Lodge of Vivian, Louisiana. Jimmy was an active Shriner in the clown unit until declining health interfered.

He was known for his love of children and that of helping others in need. But his biggest passion was hunting.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents (Bill and Alma), two sisters (Edna and Melba), and brother (Johnny). He is survived by his wife Pamela (Cram), son (Cody), granddaughter (Presley), sister (Billie Jean) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 28 th , 2020 at the Salem Cemetery at 1 o'clock p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, International Society for Bipolar Disorders or the American Diabetes Association.
