Jessie Jackson Scott III, 49, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Shreveport. Jessie (Jay) was born in Shreveport, LA on August 15, 197 3, to Jessie Jackson Scott Jr and Pamela Sepulvado Smith. Jay loved to fish and be outdoors. Jay was always willing to work hard and help others. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Laura Smith Correll; cousi n Scotty Sepulvado; among grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Pamela Sepulvado Smith of North Carolina; two sisters Kimberly Scott of North Carolina, and Jessica Snider of North Carolina; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
