In memory of Jessica Marie Perkins, born on January 21, 1979, in Shreveport, Louisiana, at LSU. She peacefully departed on January 5, 2024, after a prolonged illness. The daughter of Patricia Ann Perkins and Clydell Swinney, Jessica, a graduate of Haughton High School in 1998, was a dedicated worker, a loving mother, and a cherished friend.

Jessica's legacy endures through her parents, Patricia Perkins and Clydell Swinney, her siblings Jennifer, Aretha, Zandra, Shane, Coty, Shaun, Chad, and Sister Kamilia Peterson. She is survived by her beloved daughter Raven, nephews Jordan, Brendon, Godson DJ Peterson, and Jordon's wife Astrid, as well as her great niece and nephew, Elijah James Perkins, and Amari Ann Perkins. Additionally, her memory is fondly remembered by cousins Kerri, Michael, Amanda, Kennith, James, Maggie, Joe, Tommy, and all the other aunts, uncles, and cousins along with a multitude of loving friends.

Jessica finds peace in the company of her grandparents, Frank and Liz Perkins, Grandpa John L., and Jessi Swinney, as well as Aunt Jo, Uncle Lesli, and Aunt Troye.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, from 12pm-1pm at Aulds Funeral Home chapel. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1pm with Rev. Scott O'Rear officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Haughton. Serving as pallbearers are Kennith Perkins, Joe Trojan, Will Joshlin, Colton O'Conner, James Pierce, and Freckles Miller.
