Jerry Glenn Kennedy, a beloved figure in country music, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in Brentwood, Tennessee. Born on August 10, 1940, Jerry's life was marked by profound contributions to the world of music and the love he shared with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ellerbe Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife Delores Dea Kennedy; his sons Gordon, Bryan and Shelby and their families, all residing in Brentwood; and two sisters, Barbara Kennedy Blaylock of Bossier City and Kathy Kennedy Price of Shreveport. He will also be fondly remembered by numerous other relatives and friends.
