Jerry Wayne Hubbard or better known to friends and family as Pap, passed away peacefully from a battle with cancer on the morning of Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the age of 78.

Pap was born on November 18, 1945, in Dallas, TX. He spent his early years working in the construction field and Minden Press Herald. He enjoyed going to the horse races, playing bingo and buying lottery tickets.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Bobbie Jeffers of Burleson, TX, step-son, James R. Wyatt, Jr. of Cotton Valley and grandchildren: Cindy (Troy) Simmons, Tammy (Brett) Miller, James (Lala) Etheridge, Shawn Etheridge, Melissa (Jason) Bartula, Robin Wyatt, Robert Wyatt, Jr., Greg Wyatt, Stacey Wyatt, and Zack Lovelace, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Wille Delbert Hubbard and Maggie Mildred Bird, and his wife Polly Hubbard. Arrangements are entrusted to Aulds Funeral Home.

Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
