A Celebration of Life for Jerry Don Faust, 85, will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the Richland Hills Church located at 7851 LA Hwy 1, Shreveport, Louisiana, with  Pastor Larry Bass officiating.  A private family interment of ashes will follow.

Jerry entered into rest November 5, 2018, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Jerry was a retired owner/operator of American Weed Control, Inc., and a life-long resident of Belcher, Louisiana.  Jerry was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and cousin, deeply devoted to his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Betty Jo Allums Faust, daughter, Becky Lynn Balliett, grandson,  Chaz Ryan O'Neill, son in law, Johnny Edwards, parents, Acie Faust and Lola Faust Brown; brothers, Elmer Faust, Sidney Faust, Bill Faust, and Oscar Faust; and sisters, Lucille Brossette, Nan Quibodeaux, and Betty Rae Rains.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Mark Faust and Brenda Faust; daughters, Jerianne Edwards, and Peggy Salzer; son in law, Pat Salzer; sister, Quida Marcelli of Houma, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards, Danny Edwards, and Misty Cook; Jason Balliett,  Korie Frantom, Mark Faust, Maggie Kyle, Ashley O'Neill and Zach O'Neill; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amie Hospice Care in Shreveport for the incredible care they provided Jerry in his last days, or to or John Hagee's "Sanctuary of Hope Ministries" which works to ease the suffering of orphaned children, and unwed mothers who choose life.
