Jerry Dale Bishop, Sr passed away in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 9, 2019 at the age of 74.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Owens Collier and William O. Bishop. His brother, William Oliver Bishop and sister Linda Whisennand.

Jerry is survived by his 3 children; Jerry D Bishop, Jr, wife Holly and their children Lane Bishop and Haley Bishop. Emmitt O Bishop, wife Shelley and their children Katie Lewis and Chelsea Bishop and Cara Mendez, husband Bacilio and their children Cassidy Mendez and Caleb Mendez. He is also survived by his brother Orville "Monk" Bishop and his sister Debbie Vandenburg. Jerry is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was born in Northvillie, Michigan on June 21, 1945, he worked as a carpenter and truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at the Northwest Louisiana Cementary, 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, La. 71047, on Friday November 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.

Officiating the service will be pastor David Biddle.
