Jennifer Marie Scheich was born to James and Linda Scheich in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 2, 1976. Living the majority of her adult life in Shreveport, Louisiana, she passed away from a brief but severely aggressive illness in Houston, Texas on September 18, 2025.

Jennifer (Jenn as an adult) was survived by: parents Jim (Beverly) Scheich and Linda DuPont; long-time partner Robert Hilton, his mother Debra (Gunther) Lange and his twin brother Jeremy Hilton; four sons, who were adopted by loving families; siblings Jeffrey (Angela) Scheich, Jamie (Justin) Moore, Jonathan DuPont, Jesse (Joy) DuPont, Joshua (Danielle) DuPont; uncles Robert Scheich, John (Nancy Bierbaum; aunt Joyce (Jim) Doughty; six cousins; four nephews, three nieces.

Jennifer was predeceased by: grandparents Donald and MaryAnn Scheich, John and Ruth Bierbaum; uncle William (Jean, living) Bierbaum and aunt Donna Bierbaum; cousin Sarah (Scott, living) Strawn.

Jennifer was an avid reader; she was able to read bedtime stories to herself by her fourth birthday and continued reading throughout her life. She loved music and singing and had a wonderful sense of humor accompanied by her beautiful smile and laugh.  (Pink Panther jokes and Little Pickle Riding Hood stories were childhood favorites.)  Her Great Aunt Mary Gerber declared toddler Jennifer to have dancing, sparkling eyes while Rob declared her eyes spoke volumes. A diligent worker, she gave her best to the patients of Northwest Louisiana Nephrology in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jennifer also had a special room in her heart for her cats.
