Jeffrey David Wall (JDub) was born April 30, 1978, in Shreveport. He left his earthly home on Dec. 18, 2017, following a brief illness.
Jeff graduated from Southwood High School in 1996 and from Bossier Parish Community College in 2008. He worked with his dad in their landscaping business for 20 years.
Jeff was a charismatic and unique person who loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed music and art and animals, rooting for his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints, going to baseball games, Halloween and amusement parks. One of his favorite singers was Willie Nelson and he was proud that they shared a birthday. Jeff's philosophy in life was to live it how you want, and that's exactly what he did, to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Kathy Wall, of Shreveport, life partner of 21 years Charity Diezman, sister Mandy Wall, nephew Maverick Hoskison, uncle Perry and aunt Suzie Wall, aunt Lillie Wall Gurski, aunt Sherri Sparks, and a host of cousins on both sides of the family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Trixie Fairless, Donald and Sibyl Wall, cousin Troy Wall, aunt Rebecca Wall Middleton, and uncle Odie Sparks.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Auld's Funeral Home in Shreveport. Officiating will be Rev. David Radford of North DeSoto Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pet Savers, a local pet shelter that was near and dear to Jeff.
"Dear friends there'll be no sad farewells
There'll be no tear-dimmed eyes
Where all is peace and joy and love
And the soul of man never dies"
