Jeffrey Allan "Jeff" Rogers, 49, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on October 29, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1974, in Ripley, MS, to the late Norma Sanderson Rogers and Steven F. Rogers. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Deanna Rogers, and his cherished dog.

Jeff was a dedicated hard worker, a devoted husband, a wonderful dog dad, and a true friend. He had a strong work ethic and served his country for over 20 years in the United States Army, with military associations from 1992 to 2016. Jeff proudly served both in the US and abroad, completing three combat tours. After retiring from the military, he continued to serve his fellow veterans as a police sergeant with the Veterans Affairs police department at the Overton Brooks Medical Center since December 9, 2018.

In addition to his military service, Jeff had a fulfilling career and was highly regarded for his commitment. He was known for his dedication and passion for helping others.

Outside of his work, Jeff had a variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hiking, riding his motorcycle, going to the shooting range, and traveling. He especially cherished day trips with his beloved wife and their dog.

Jeffrey Allan Rogers is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Sanderson Rogers, his father, Steven F. Rogers, his brother, Steven Rogers, and his sister-in-law, Denise Book Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Deanna Rogers, nieces, Nicolette Blood (Ryan Johnson) and Megan Singleton, his great-niece, Khloie Johnson, his great-nephews, Deuce Johnson and Greyson Singleton, and his brother-in-law, Douglas Book, along with numerous cousin-in-laws.

A memorial service to honor Jeff's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10 AM at the American Legion post #14 located at 5315 S Lakeshore Dr, Shreveport, LA 71109.

Jeffrey Allan Rogers will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
