IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean Anne
Vaughn
February 1, 1973 – December 21, 2024
Jean Anne Kelleher Vaughn, born 1 February 1973, from Oil City Louisiana, passed away on 21 December 2024. In her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was being cared for by her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Terry, with the help from Passages Hospice, who were a great help in a time of great need. They appreciate the tenderness and kindness and much needed support.
Jean and Terry are proud parents to two wonderful sons, Connor Bryan and Ashton William, they are the pride and joy of her life. She supported them in everything they wanted to do, the one most important turned out to be the Boy Scouts. Jean also got involved as Conner joined Cub Scouts and carried on with volunteering until Connor and Ashton had both made Eagle Scouts, that was 17 years of loving dedication. During this time Jean wasn't just being a den mother baking cookies (although they would be beautiful to look at and delicious to eat) No! She was getting involved in many roles and making many accomplishments. She became Committee Chair of Pack 91, Troop 48 and Crew 33. She went through Wood Badge Program Director, and was awarded the Silver Beaver Award, this is the highest honor at a local BSA council can bestow on volunteer leader. Jean was also elected into Order of the Arrow. Jean impacted thousands of young lives through her journey. It was one of the many things that kept her fight strong.
Along with Jean's many accomplishments it didn't stop there. Jean's talents included Decorating of Baked Goods, Crocheting, and anyone close to her was blessed to receive a handmade gift or even just a wrapped package.
Jean Anne was a Paralegal for most of her working career and loved and took pride in her work as well.
Jean is preceded in death by mother, Debra Sue Tayor, grandmother, Bessie Taylor, grandfather, Harold Kelleher, grandmother, Georgia Kelleher.
She is survived by her loving husband Terry, sons Connor and Ashton, Mother and Father-in-law David and Betsy Rohrbaugh, Father Harold Kelleher Jr, many aunts, uncles and cousins, with special appreciation to Aunt Pam and cousin, Carolyn Sue for there much appreciated Help, love and support during her final time on this earth. This is not goodbye; it's only till we see each other again!
A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced soon.
