Jean Foster, 78, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Monterey, California on July 30, 1941 to Rev. Floyd Melvin Durham and Virginia Durham. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family dearly, and they were the love of her life. Jean's greatest characteristic was her unconditional love for those around her.

Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Varnado.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Paxton Foster; two sons David Harkness and Kevin Harkness; daughter Delana Price; stepdaughter Anja Foster; stepson Nils Foster; grandchildren Steven Harkness, Sebastian Bales, Leon Price, Alexi Harkness, Madison Harkness; great-grandson Miles Harkness.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport, with a service to follow at 11am with Chaplain Barry Miller and Minister Don Moore officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport.
