Jayson D. Rivers, age 51, of Keithville passed away Friday August 4, 2023 after a long illness. He was born in Shreveport, LA, October 13, 1971. Jayson was a Navy Veteran, and worked as a young man on the large pipeline in Norfork, VA. He worked the last several years as a heavy equipment operator.

Jayson is survived by 2 children, daughter Alexa Bounds, and son Colby Philyaw; parents, Harvey and Charlotte Rivers; loving partner Melissa Philyaw; sisters, Jacque Rivers, Raven Rivers, and Shannon Riners; and several grandchildren.

He will be missed by many and never forgotten.

Memorial Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday,  August 12, 2023, at Greenwood Hills Baptist Church, 8199 W. 70th St. Greenwood, LA 71033
