Shreveport, LA- Graveside services celebrating the life of Janie Barber Brazel will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Centuries Memorial Park at 10 AM. Janie was born September 18, 1926 in El Dorado, AR to Hudie H. and Vivian Barber. She passed away peacefully at the Grace Home. Janie and her late husband, James Carroll Brazel, who passed away May 23, 2010, were married for 64 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Family and friends will miss her dearly. Her parents, husband, half brothers, Freddie and Carol Hood, and nephew Hudie Barber, preceded Janie in death. Beautiful memories will be shared by her daughters, Linda Morris and Vicki Attaway and her husband, Doug; grandson, Trey Morris and his wife, Lacy; great grandsons, Jake and Luke Morris; and brother, James Barber and his wife Jessie, and their children, Danny, Sharon, David, Delores, and their families. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Grace Home for the professional and loving care shown to Janie. Memorials may be made to the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission.
