James Matthew Smith Sr.

January 13, 1951 - July 17, 2025

James Matthew Smith Sr., 74, passed away on July 17, 2025 in Willis Knighton ICU after battling an illness for five years.

James dedicated most of his career to Arkla Gas and in his retirement he worked as a handyman. There was no odd job he thought he couldn't do.

Memorial Services will be held on August 29, 2025 at Aulds Funeral Home at 2pm. Reverend Steve Lesher from Kings Hwy Christian Church will perform his service.

James was preceded in death by his parents JC and Dorothy Smith. Left to cherish his memory is his son James Matthew Smith Jr., his daughter Kim Ceravolo, sister Debra Ann Burns, nephew Aaron Smith, and grandchildren, Ashley Gagliano, Kristina Noland, Elizabeth Quintero, Crystal Quintero, and Toni Smith.
