James Ari (Jim) Robinson, Jr. peacefully fell asleep into the arms of Jesus on February 17, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Jim had a strong faith and was ready to meet his heavenly Father.

Jim was born on October 21, 1942, to James Ari Robinson and Edith (Hamby) Robinson in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, his sister Judy (Kathy) Kephart and cousin Jeanne (Mayeux) Tatman.  He is survived by his mother Edith (Robinson) Burns, his brother Mark Robinson and wife Paula, his aunts Dorothy Green, Jackie Downs, Charlotte Mayeux and Jane Robinson Phipps, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved cat, Puss.

The family would like to thank his very special friends Colleen and Chris Needles, Don Walker, Dana Mason and Hannah Jo Martin Matherne for their love, friendship and unending kindness throughout Jim's life and illness.

Jim attended Byrd High School and continued his education at Louisiana Tech, where he received a master's degree in Microbiology.

Jim had an entrepreneurial spirit throughout his career and this, with his love for the outdoors and adventure, allowed him to live a very full life.

Jim will be greatly missed by family and friends.  We are comforted by the words of Paul," Life on earth is temporary yet we have an eternal home in heaven."

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on April 9 at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.
