James Austin Ortego, age 26, passed away on August 6, 2024. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 25, 1997, to Alan Wayne Ortego and Lori Helverson.

He was preceded in death by his father Alan Wayne Ortego, Sr; Grandmother Earlee Helverson; Grandfather Jerome Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are his Mother, Lori Helverson; twin sister Jamie Ortego; brother James Harley, Jr.; sister Teia Harley; sister Tammy Harley; brother Jessey Harley; sister Jennifer Beck; brother AJ Ortego; brother Thomas Jordan; brother Dakota Braddock. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.
