James "Jimmy" Marshall Wilson rode into that big arena in the sky on March 12, 2024. Jimmy entered into rest surrounded by his family at his home in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Jimmy was born on December 27, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to his parents Woodrow & Ethel Wilson Sr.. During his life Jimmy worked as an Equine Horseshoer meeting and making friends along the way, another enjoyment of Jimmy's life was the rodeo world, his hobby in that was calf & team roping.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow & Ethel Wilson Sr., Paternal & Maternal grand & great grandparents, brothers Woodrow Wilson Jr., Eddie Wilson & his sister Jackie Bamburg & countless extended family members.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 34 years Kathy Watson Wilson, Sons Jimmy Wilson & wife Teresa, David Glen Wilson & wife Lori, Shane Ramsey & wife Stephanie, daughters Shelly Ramsey, & Shannon Johnson & husband Eric. His sister Leann Bryce & husband Leonard. Grandkids Katie Wilson, Joni Otwel & husband Gage, Destini Wilson, Amber Harris & husband Andrew, Paden Ayers & wife Chelsea, Stormie Salley & husband Lane, Colton Johnson, Gunnar Ramsey & wife Julieann, Michael Shane Ramsey & wife Brianna, Emily Ramsey & fiancé Cole Hubier, Trent Amox, Cody Godwin & wife Tiffany, Brittany Ramsey and husband Trent, Ashley Gray & husband Shane, 20 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces & nephews.
